About Us

Vessels of Virtue (VoV) is a registered non-profit organisation which is run by Precious  Nyarambi. Precious is studying towards an Entrepreneurship degree with Unisa. She has acquired her expertise in Business Development, Sales and Marketing through collaborating with other  corporate organisations and is currently studying Social Entrepreneurship at the Gordon Institute of Business Science.

The organisation is run by a Board of Trustees who are qualified in Accounting, Research and Development, Project pioneering and implementation, Counselling and Facilitation of short courses. The mandate of the organisation is to focus on the holistic development of women. Its philosophy is centred on offering a total package that sets women on to a journey of healing and recovery.

Vessels of Virtue provides a platform to address physical, spiritual and emotional needs. Our mission statement states “We are a voice of transformation and empowerment, we are emerging as a force to reckon with as far as women empowerment is concerned.” The organisation’s main objective is to raise the profile of women from marginalised backgrounds.

Thus far we have directly impacted the lives of over 500 women by:

 Providing employment through our sister company which is a domestic placement  agency (Elohay Cleaners Pty Ltd).

 Offering counselling and emotional support to those that are in need.

 Upskilling women through training programs in areas such as Office Administration,  Craft/Beading, Entrepreneurship and other short courses.

We have also run successful annual events such as business workshops through our network  of mentors, these workshops have had wider reach and are particularly successful as they serve to mentor these same women and equip them with the necessary skills to elevate their business skills to the next level.

We also hosts an annual gala dinner and other musically themed events in order to provide additional income streams for the organisation.

In order for us to both grow and continue to deliver effectively on our mandate, it has become necessary for us to look at additional funding streams. This in fact, represents our current greatest challenge.

The Woolworths MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet social responsibility is intrinsically aligned to our purpose and we believe that it is a programme from which could be of mutual benefit.
